Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy and laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy are performed routinely, supported by vessel-sealing technology, and Endo Venous Laser Ablation (EVLA) is offered for varicose veins — Mangala Hospital was the first, and remains among the only, centres in Mangalore and Dakshina Kannada offering this scar-free alternative to open vein stripping. The same laser platform is used for piles, selected skin and soft-tissue excisions, and as an adjunct in cancer surgery.
